Sustainable Fashion - Saving the Planet One Stitch at a Time

How mindful are you when it comes to choosing what you wear?

Do you consider what will happen to your funky jacket once it is no longer fashionable or worn-through?

Do you consider the resources such as water, land, and energy required to produce your garment from the raw materials to getting it into a store?

Are natural fibres superior to synthetics when it comes to sustainability?
Or should we rather be investing in virtual fashion in the metaverse?

What makes fashion sustainable? How far are we in SA in achieving fashion consciousness? What does the future of fashion hold?

So many questions! Let's get them answered at Innovation City!

Find out more on August 18th at 6pm when we host Caroline Nelson, Country Manager of H&M South Africa, Susan Cherry, Head of Design for Cape Union Mart, and Mike Mikkelborg, founder of Sustainable Fashion Strategy. Moderated by DAF Director Luke Fobian
